African American Leadership volunteers for 'Speed Mentoring'
Members of United Way's African American Leadership recently volunteered for an afternoon of one-on-one "Speed Mentoring" with students enrolled in Graduate Greenville's summer enrichment program.
Over the course of three days in July, AAL members visited Southside High School, Berea High School and Greenville High School to have lunch with the students and talk with them about their careers, the importance of education and what it takes to rise above challenges the students may face in life.
Speed Mentoring is one of the annual community outreach projects of United Way's African American Leadership. For more information on AAL, click here.
