United Way award winners are recognized at a special Awards Celebration in January. Set your goals and plan to be an award winner!
Award Criteria
- 10% increase in employee giving
- $100 or more employee per capita
- 50% or more employee participation
- One or more Palmetto Society members ($1,000+)
- 50% of contributors are Fair Share givers
(Fair Share=1% or more of annual salary (salaried employees) or one hour of pay per month (hourly employees)
Awards
- Chairman's Award - meet any four of the award criteria
- Campaign Award of Excellence - meet any two of the award criteria
- Advancement Award in $'s - a 25% increase in employee giving
- Advancement Award in Participation - a 25% increase in employee participation
- Premier Award - for companies running a campaign for the first-time
To be considered for awards, companies must have 2 or more employees and a campaign of $500 or more. Award eligibility will be determined based on employee giving data submitted by the company.
