The issue cites leaders in business, government, education and nonprofit fields for their contributions to “shaping Greenville’s business and community landscape in 2010.”
Hendry and Goss were specifically cited for leading United Way’s financial stability efforts, which included the acquisition of two federal grants – one funding 27 AmeriCorps positions and the other supporting the Individual Development Account (IDA) savings match program. Both grants will help expand access to existing programs designed to improve the financial stability of individuals and families.
