VITA Volunteer Appreciation

On April 27, United Way of Greenville County's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program celebrated the accomplishments of VITA volunteers during its annual VITA Volunteer Appreciation event. With more than 40 VITA volunteers in attendance, United Way recognized volunteers for their efforts in serving more than 2,100 people, returning over $1.7 million back into the Greenville community, and saving taxpayers more than $300,000 in tax preparation fees. Volunteers were able to share their experiences as they enjoyed refreshments and impressive views from the roof top of the Innovate Building in downtown Greenville.
