The Upstate’s largest annual day of service returns on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Hands On Greenville (HOG) Day is United Way of Greenville County’s largest annual day of volunteer service. Each year, our community comes together for one powerful day to address real needs across Greenville County through hands-on service.
Local nonprofits, schools and community organizations submit volunteer projects based on needs in their neighborhoods. On HOG Day, thousands of individuals, families, businesses and faith-based groups sign up to serve on those projects, turning community ideas into action.
From planting gardens and painting classrooms to assembling care kits and revitalizing shared spaces, HOG Day offers volunteer opportunities for all ages and abilities.
There are two ways to participate in Hands On Greenville Day:
Have a project that could use volunteer support? Community organizations are invited to submit service projects for consideration.
Sign up to volunteer and explore available projects across Greenville County. You may volunteer as an individual, with your family or as part of a team.
You must have an active volunteer profile or create an account to view and register for available projects.
HANDS ON GREENVILLE DAY
Creating a measurable impact is about empowering people to strengthen the communities they’re part of — not just today, but for tomorrow. We’re about long-term solutions that not only create opportunities, but shatter barriers. Because to us, a person’s zip code shouldn’t limit his or her chance for success.
Together, we’re United Way of Greenville County.
