As an AmeriCorps member serving with United Way’s Financial Stability programs, recent college grad Meredith Morgan has committed a year of her life to building a Cycle of Success in our community.
Whether it’s helping young mothers create a stable home for their children or preparing free tax returns through VITA, Meredith is witness to the far-reaching impact of United Way every day. She sees how financially stable families that can not only meet basic needs, but also save for higher education, a home, or retirement, are building a Cycle of Success for their children and for generations to come.
“I go to work and I love what I do because I get to help people in the most tangible way,” she said. “But not every one needs to take a year off of their life to give back. Just a gift to support United Way can go so far. I’ve seen the impact United Way has. I’ve seen the lives changed.”
