This past year asked a lot of our community. And our community delivered.
We navigated real uncertainty. We watched the needs of our neighbors grow in ways that challenged long-standing systems. And through it all, people showed up with new ideas, hard questions, and the courage to do things differently.
At United Way of Greenville County, we didn’t just respond. We reflected. We asked ourselves honestly: what is working, what isn’t, and are we the organization best positioned to meet what our community actually needs right now?
Those aren’t easy questions. But they’re necessary ones. Because real impact takes more than good intentions. It takes clarity, accountability, and a willingness to evolve.
That mindset drove everything this year. We set ambitious goals and exceeded them. Families found stability. Individuals accessed new opportunities. Systems that once felt stuck began to shift.
That progress belongs to all of you. Our partners on the front lines, our volunteers, our donors and corporate partners, and our team, who lead with both urgency and care and never lose sight of the people behind the numbers.
This is what makes United Way different. We’re not on the sidelines. We’re in it, listening, learning, adapting, and leading alongside this community.
I’m proud of what we accomplished this year. And I’m even more energized by what lies ahead.
Thank you for being part of this work.
