When you give to United Way, you become part of a large, interconnected network of donors, partners and volunteers. All of us bring our unique perspective, experience and enthusiasm to the cause — and that diversity is the wellspring of innovative solutions we need to create positive change on a large scale.
We invite everyone to be part of our work to build a stronger, more equitable Greenville County where everyone has access to the opportunities to achieve their full potential.

African American Leadership Greenville (AALG)
AALG unites African American leaders in Greenville County under a banner of philanthropy, volunteerism and community impact. AALG members participate in a range of service opportunities, from mentoring students in area schools to participating in community-wide volunteer events. Since its inception in 1999, AALG members have invested nearly $5 million in United Way to improve education and economic mobility in our community.
Women’s Leadership is a network of women united by generosity, compassion and a shared desire to make a difference in our community. Members invest their time to advance the causes they feel strongly about: quality childcare and education, crisis services, financial stability, job training and more. Women’s Leadership hosts a variety of impactful volunteer and networking opportunities, including our annual Women Make a Difference Luncheon.
Young Leaders Society
United Way’s Young Leaders Society (YLS) is a network of engaged people under the age of 40 who share a passion for helping others and strengthening our community. YLS members connect through unique education and networking events, serve through hands-on volunteer opportunities and grow through innovative leadership programs.
ReUNITED invites seniors and retirees to connect, engage and make a difference in our community. ReUNITED understands the important role that volunteerism and philanthropy play in strengthening our community, and we are ready to put our life experiences and knowledge to work for others. With fun and informative opportunities to stay active and engaged with our community all year long, ReUNITED is a great way to stay connected.
