MLK Service Project

As we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we continue his work to build a future where everyone has representation and access to the opportunities to achieve their full potential. Join United Way of Greenville County and the Greenville Reentry Coalition in a special service drive to provide work-related clothing and transportation resources to formerly incarcerated individuals.

Needed items include:

  • Belts: one-size/adjustable preferred or sizes 32–42
  • Bus Passes: available for purchase from Greenlink
  • Shoes: slip-resistant, steel toe work shoes; mens sizes 9–13 and women 6–10
  • Plain T-Shirts/Polos: M–2XL
  • Work Pants: 32×30 and up

We will collect all items on our community drop-off day:

Monday, Jan. 24 | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
United Way of Greenville County
105 Edinburgh Ct, Greenville, SC 29607

If you can’t make the drop-off day or would like to make a gift in support of this service project, you can give today.
