Call for Summit Presenters

Attention dynamic presenters, experts, innovators and thought leaders! We are please to invite submissions for our Women United Summit on September 21, 2023. Topics (listed below) are related to inspiring change and celebrating the impact of women in our community.

If you are a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience, or a cutting-edge researcher pushing the boundaries of your field, we encourage you to submit a proposal to present at our event. As a presenter, you will have the opportunity to share your unique perspective with a diverse audience, engage in stimulating discussions with other experts and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in your field.

  2. Proposal Evaluation Criteria:
    • Clarity and coherence of the proposal
    • Potential for engagement and interaction
    • Relevance to summit theme and workshop topic
  3. Proposal Format:
    • Title of presentation
    • Abstract (100–200 words). Submit an abstract of your proposed session. This abstract will be used to recruit participants to your session.
    • Briefly outline the content of your session. This should be different from your Abstract. This will be used by the review committee to understand the content and extent of engagement of your session.
    • Submit a video. Website link to a YouTube video or a video from another platform of a presentation in which you spoke to an audience about the summit theme or any video of the presenter speaker about any topic. The video does not have to be a formal or professionally-created video. However, it should be at least two minutes in length. The proposal evaluation committee will give preference to those who submit a video; however, the submission of a website link to a video is not required to submit a proposal.

  4. Submission Process:
    • Please submit your proposal via our online submission form. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the conference organizer Lauren Brager at lbrager@unitedwaygc.org.
    • All proposals will be subjected to a blind peer-review process. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by July 31, 2023
