Celebrating back-to-school season, this year’s United Way Night features a wide variety of meaningful experiences perfect for the entire family:

DISTRICT 356 UNITED WAY EXPERIENCE (5–7 P.M.)

The fun begins outside the stadium at 5 p.m. as we transform District 356 into a block party with games and STEM activities from our partners at Dodge Industrial and Michelin, face painting, music from iHeartRadio, a local fire truck and interactive firehouse, an appearance by Reedy Rip’It, and a “stuff the bus” donation drive for back-to-school supplies and non-perishable food items (you can find a list of needed items below). Those making a donation will be rewarded with a complimentary single scoop of Sweet Caroline’s ice cream at the game that night.
Attendees can also participate in onsite volunteer opportunities, including packing student menstrual kits or filming a special thank-you message to school staff to help kick off the year.

BALLPARK GATES OPEN (6 P.M.)

The party will continue throughout the evening with special programming celebrating the game-changing impact of United Way donors and volunteers. United Way community partners will also be on hand around the concourse to share fun educational activities and other local resources available to families as they prepare for the school year.

FIRST PITCH OF THE GREENVILLE DRIVE GAME VS. THE WILMINGTON BLUE ROCKS (7 P.M.)

United Way of Greenville County—the people, the organization, and the years of community impact—will be prominently featured throughout the game.

Don’t forget to wear your Hands On Greenville Day shirt to receive a $5 ballpark voucher the Drive Information Center.
