We Are Stronger United: 2024 Awards Celebration

Read more about our impact in 2023 and the individual investors, companies, community partners and volunteers who made it all possible.

Hundreds gathered at the Greenville Convention Center or March 6, 2024, to celebrate the impact made possible by the investors, corporations, foundations, activists and volunteers who supported United Way of Greenville County in 2023.

This pivotal year saw the adoption and implementation of our new How We Win strategy; the unveiling of our three-year, $9 million investment cycle; and the approval of our 2024 Public Policy and Advocacy Agenda. Among the awards presented were:

  • The Campaign Award of Excellence to 93 organizations.
  • The Chairman’s Award to 24 organizations for a best practices campaign.
  • The Premier Award to six organizations for running their first United Way campaign.
  • The Advancement Award to 62 organizations for a 25 percent increase in dollars raised and participations.
