The Upstate’s largest annual day of service returned on Saturday, April 30, as 2,100 community volunteers rolled up their sleeves to serve across Greenville County. After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, Hands On Greenville Day was back with more than 50 projects at local schools, parks and United Way partner organizations.

In just a few hours on a Saturday morning, volunteers from 70 teams landscaped, painted, cleaned and built their way to an estimated economic impact of $250,000 across our community!

It was such an incredible feeling to be back out with our partners and volunteers. Greenville County is such a caring place, and the spirit of volunteerism is alive and well. Thank you to all of the families, companies, community groups and individuals who got their hands on Greenville with us.
