America’s Official Conscience Joins the Cause
In 1967, United Way received some help from a surprising volunteer. Walt Disney’s Jiminy Cricket joined the 1967 United Way campaign, appearing on posters, campaign buttons, in magazines and films for several years.
His message was simple: Give the United Way.
