United Way announces Ford Riddle as Vice President of Philanthropy

United Way of Greenville County has announced Ford Riddle as its new Vice President of Philanthropy. Riddle joins United Way from Furman University, where he held several fundraising leadership roles over the past six years — most recently as Director of Major Gifts.

Riddle will serve as a key member of United Way’s leadership team, providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s philanthropic efforts. His primary focus will be developing and deepening relationships with individual donors.

“We are excited to welcome Ford to the team,” said United Way of Greenville County President and CEO Meghan Barp. “He joins us at an exciting time in our history as we celebrate a century of service in Greenville County, and we look forward to utilizing his leadership and expertise as we work to build a stronger, more equitable future for all.”

Riddle holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Furman University, as well as an Master of Business Administration from Clemson University.
