Yobany Banks-McKay joins United Way as Vice President of Corporate Engagement

United Way of Greenville County has hired Yobany Banks-McKay as the organization’s new Vice President of Corporate Engagement.

Banks-McKay, a longtime volunteer who served as United Way’s Community Campaign Chair in 2020, previously worked as director of inside sales for United Parcel Service in Greenville. She retired from UPS in 2021 after a nearly 30-year career in sales and leadership.

In her new role, Banks-McKay will lead the United Way of Greenville County Corporate Engagement team’s efforts to increase the number of corporate partnerships and strengthen existing partnerships through fundraising campaigns, volunteerism, and special events.

“Throughout her successful professional career, Yobany has been a passionate advocate for United Way as a volunteer,” said United Way President and CEO Meghan Barp. “Her personal story is inspiring, and we’re excited to add her professional insight and expertise to our team.”

“As a supporter of United Way for over 30 years while at UPS, I know the importance of motivating teams to engage, volunteer and donate to this great organization,” said Banks-McKay. “I am thrilled to apply my knowledge and experience to help United Way of Greenville County continue to succeed for our community.”
